The Company was constituted in 1973, in a small agency in the center of Belo Horizonte, Minas Gerais, initiating its activity with 6 used and financed units. By late 70's, the Company initiated his expansion, opening its first branch office in Vitória, Espírito Santo. Short time afterwards, the company was present in Río de Janeiro, el Salvador, São Luiz and Fortaleza. Diferenciating from its competitors, that opted for concentrate his activities in the south regions and southeast of the Country, the Company decided initially expand itself by the northeast and, in less of 3 years, was present in the majority of the capitals of such region. In 1981, the Company assumed the leadership in the market of car rental in Brazil, on the basis of the number of agencies. |
